For the history buffs the National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial is one place you can’t afford to miss out on. In 2004 the museum was established by Congress as the official institution dedicated to preserving the memories of World War I and opened its doors to the public late in 2006. The museum both has its own permanent display and hosts traveling artifacts as well.
