Circle Pines lies at the southern end of the Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Park Reserve, a massive park that spans 5,500 acres – making it one of the largest park reserves in the seven-county metro area. The park is home to Wargo Nature Center, Chomonix Golf Course, Centerville Lake Beach, and Rice Creek Campground. Activities include boating, picnicking, fishing, cross-country skiing, and camping. Amenities include playgrounds, a fishing pier, and biking and hiking trails.

Rent an apartment in Circle Pines and you’ll not only enjoy the natural beauty and outdoor adventures available in the area, but you’ll enjoy living in a beautiful community with top-rated schools. You’ll also be just 16 miles northeast of Minneapolis, providing an easy commute to those who wish to visit or work in the busy metro area.

Circle Pines began in 1946 as a cooperative community with every house facing a park or walkway. Although no longer a co-op, the original plan were ideal for creating a pedestrian-friendly area with pleasant neighborhoods lined with sidewalks and small parks. The parks in Circle Pines include Indian Hills Park, Inner Park, Golden Lake, City Hall Park, and Heritage Commons. Boat and canoe launches, as well as a trail system, are also available.
