Windy Hills is part of the larger Woodlawn Park community and is located to the northeast of downtown Louisville, Kentucky. Restaurants in this area are diverse and many are highly rated. Havana Rumble LLC specializes in Cuban cuisine. Del Frisco’s is a top-of-the-line steakhouse with a romantic atmosphere.

The Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory is where the official bat of Major League Baseball is crafted. With notice, the museum can create customized group tours around a specific Major League team. Personalized bats can also be a part of the tour package – again with enough advanced notice.

Louisville is also the home of the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs. The Downs is located just to the northwest of Louisville International Airport.
