Prairie Park Fishery, and Sac and Fox Trail Park are located just a brief drive to the northeast. Have fun on water and land at the Prairie Park Fishery. Water sports at Prairie Park include scuba diving, fishing, ice fishing, and paddle sports. On land, try out the 1.7-mile hard surface trail, or geocaching — a popular treasure hunting game. Sac and Fox trail is the oldest National Recreation Trail in Iowa, and spans more than seven miles, at times following the Cedar River or Indian Creek.
Dinner, drinks, and movies are all minutes away in Lincolnway Village. Getting good food fast is no obstacle with Lincolnway’s fast food selection that includes traditional favorites such as Sonic, A&W, McDonald’s and Burger King. Nightlife is available in the form of several area bars and the Carmike Wynnsong 12 theater, located minutes to the Northwest. For those with a taste for wider travel, Lincolnway Village could not be placed better. The Eastern Iowa Airport sits just a short drive to the southwest.
