Will County, Illinois is considered part of the Chicago metro area and it is one of the fastest-growing counties in the state. The county was formed in 1836 and its county seat is Joliet. Joliet is about 40 miles southwest of Chicago and it is one of the most populated cities in the state. It is considered one of the fastest-growing cities in the nation.
