The Harry S. Truman Parkway bisects the neighborhood.

Surrounding neighborhoods are Victory Manor and Donwood to the north, and Oakland, Northgate, and Eastgate towards the southeast.

Grayson Stadium was first opened in 1927 and was renovated in 1941 after a hurricane destroyed the park. It is the home of the Savannah Sand Gnats, who play in the South Atlantic Baseball League.

Victory Square is part of a large shopping area that includes Victory Square Shopping Center, McAlpine Shopping Center, Victory Drive Shopping Center, and much more. There is also some undeveloped property surrounding the commercial area and the Truman Parkway.

The area public schools are part of the Chatham County School District. The Savannah Arts Academy is in the proximity and is dedicated to teaching quality visual and performing arts. Other schools in the area include Ellis Montessori Elementary Academy and Myers Middle School.
