Residents also benefit from easy access to Giant Discount Food Mart, a specialty store located on West Gwinnett Street, which is within walking distance from many parts of the Carver Heights neighborhood.
Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy a host of recreational opportunities, ranging from surfing to sunbathing on the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. The ocean can be easily accessed at Tybee Island, a seaside community near the border of Georgia and South Carolina, about 23 miles from Carver Heights.
