Westhaven Apartments for Rent

Westhaven is a neighborhood in Atlanta, Georgia, located south of Interstate 20, east of Linkwood Road, and north of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Most of the homes in the neighborhood were built between 1950 and 1970.

The average demographic in the area is singles in their mid-30s. Only about one third of households in the neighborhood include married couples and families.

Located to the east of the Westhaven neighborhood off of Delmar Lane is the Adamsville recreation center. The center is well known for helping children become more active through athletic programs. A variety of classes are available, including karate, dance, and even swimming lessons. The center also has a large swimming pool, football field, dance studio, basketball courts, and a fitness center. The recreation center is popular with area youth, especially teenagers.

On the opposite side of Interstate 285 across from the recreation center is the Cascades Family Skating Center, which is a popular destination for area children and families. This large skate facility provides full-service skating, including skate rentals, complete with a DJ playing the hottest music hits. The center is well liked by skaters of all ages and is a regular destination for youth groups hosted by area churches, schools, and other organizations.

The local library, the Adamsville Collier Heights Library, provides access to thousands of books as well as computers and free wifi. It also offers community enrichment classes and youth reading programs.
