Chalet Woods is a neighborhood in Atlanta. It is located to the west of Willis Mill Road, south and east of Peyton Road, and north of Lionel Hampton Park. Homes in the area are mostly single-family dwellings, with many of the residents in the area having children. Throughout the area are numerous large trees that offer excellent cover and provide a level of peace in the community.

Chalet Woods is also known for being somewhat quiet. Located well away from any major roadways, the neighborhood has light traffic. It is common to find children playing in the street, throwing footballs, and playing basketball on the roadways. Walkers, runners, and cyclists also take advantage of the light vehicle flow and hit the area roads to get exercise.

North of Peyton Road is the Isabel Gates Webster Park. This popular park is somewhat modest but provides an opportunity for residents of the area to get outdoors. The park has tennis courts, a playground, and picnic areas. It is also heavily wooded and makes a great place to go to relax and just enjoy the peace of nature.

The area surrounding Chalet Woods is somewhat laid back. Only a few key businesses exist in the immediate area. Life moves a little bit slower in this part of town, but it is still located about a mile away from Interstate 20, which provides quick access to the surrounding Atlanta area and many major venues.
