A number of trails, open gathering spaces, and playgrounds are also located within the preserve, including an area specially designed for active senior citizens. The preserve also provides a variety of educational activities to many local schoolchildren.

For those who prefer indoor activities, the community is located within easy driving distance of both the Campbelton Plaza and Greenbriar Shopping Centers. Both are also easily accessible by local transit.
