The Hilaman Park Municipal Golf Course is four and a half miles to its west and it offers challenging tee locations for experienced golfers.
Cultural attractions also abound nearby. The Tallahassee Antique Car Museum is four miles north of Winwood Hills, and offers a varied collection of classic cars and some of the “bat mobiles” used in the “Batman” series of movies. The Goodwood Museum is five and a half miles to its west, appealing to lovers of old homes and antiques. The Museum of Florida History, which attracts visitors from all over the state and beyond, is six and a half miles west of Winwood Hills. The Mary Brogan Museum of Art and Science, a museum with rotating and permanent exhibits for families, and the Riley House Museum are also with a seven-mile radius.
