History comes alive at the Goodwood Museum and Gardens located on Miccosukee Road. Visitors experience the family cotton plantation which originally covered 1675 acres. The home features porcelain, furniture, glassware, textiles, art, and many personal effects of the family. The décor reflects the World War I period. Guided tours are available. The lush gardens cover 16 acres and are 20th century in design. There is no charge to visit and stroll through the beautiful grounds.
