It’s bordered to the north by Centre Point Village and to the south by Miccosukee Road/County Road 146. Capital Circle Northeast serves as its eastern border and Blair Stone Road serves as its western border.

Harriman Circle Park is just over a half-mile to its west, while McCord Park is one miles to its west. Tom Brown Park is two and a half miles southeast of the community, and it’s a 255-acre recreational park. It offers a disc golf course, tennis courts, natural trails, a multiple-use sports field, a baseball field, a BMX track, designated picnic areas, and a fenced-in dog park. Lake Leoni is also located along the southern end of the Goose Pond Trail in Tom Brown Park.

Melody Hills is a family-friendly neighborhood, with several well regarded private and public schools within easy walking or driving distance of the neighborhood. Franklin Academy, a middle school that’s noted for the scholastic achievements of its students, is a half-mile southeast of the community. Imagine School at Evening Rose is just under a mile to its southeast, and Kid’s World Academy and the Holy Comforter Episcopal School are about a mile to its northeast.

Cultural attractions also abound nearby. The Antique Car Museum, which offers displays of classic cars to some “bat mobiles” from the Batman film series, is a mile and a half east of Melody Hills. The Riley House Museum, a historical museum and preserved home, is three miles to its southwest. The Mary Brogan Museum of Art and Science, which offers permanent and rotating exhibits that often delight families, is three and a half miles to its southwest.
