Nearby Tom Brown Park offers a renowned BMX bicycle course, a Frisbee golf course, tennis courts, and a playground. Many residents just enjoy picnicking by the park’s lake and enjoying the north Florida weather.
Highway 90, which is north of Lafayete Meadows, connects to Tallahassee’s biggest universities. Florida State University, Florida A&M University, and Tallahassee Community College are less than 10 minutes away. Regardless of whether residents attend a local university, all of Tallahassee enjoys rallying around the FSU Seminoles’ popular football and basketball teams.
