Another popular attraction is the Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park, only two miles southwest of the community. This 1,076-acre park lines the shores of Lake Hall and features an array of ornamental gardens. It offers visitors activities ranging from fishing, canoeing, and kayaking to hiking, bicycling, and swimming, all within five minutes of the Foxcroft neighborhood.
