Chase Ridge is a rather small, primarily residential community of Tallahassee in the 32311 zip code. It’s bordered to the north by Heritage Park Boulevard and to the south by Apalachee Parkway. March Road serves as its eastern border, and Conner Boulevard is its western border.

It’s a very dog-friendly community. Dog walkers can often be seen walking along the sidewalks of the tree-lined streets. Also, Tom Brown Park, one of Tallahassee’s best off-leash dog parks, is a mile northwest of Chase Ridge. It’s a 255-acre city park that also has a baseball field, a tennis court, a BMX track, nature trails, and designated picnic areas. Lake Lafayette and the Lake Lafayette Heritage Trail Park are less than two miles east of the neighborhood.

Several restaurants are within walking distance. Mom and Dad’s Italian Restaurant is only a quarter of a mile southeast of the community. Smokie’s Barbecue and Somethin’ Fishy of Tallahassee are half a mile to its southeast. McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Firehouse Subs, Waffle House, and Pizza Hut are all about a mile to its west.

Cultural and historical attractions also abound near Chase Ridge. Goodwood Museum, a haven for antiques, is four miles to its northwest. The Riley House Museum, which is also a historical landmark, is four and a half miles to its west. The Museum of Florida History, The Old Capitol Museum, The Mary Brogan Museum of Art and Science, and the Knott House Museum are also with a five-mile radius.

Several of the wealthier Chase Ridge residents are members of the Capital City Country Club, which is four miles west of the neighborhood. In addition to its well-manicured, 18-hole golf course, it offers a pool, tennis courts, clubhouse, fitness center, and on-site dining.
