The Tallahassee Museum lies within walking distance of Callen. The museum’s Old Florida site has an 1890s school, and three buildings from a cotton plantation. The Natural Florida site has walking trails that give visitors a chance to explore the cypress trees at Lake Hiawatha. Music festivals like “Swamp Stomp” and “Jazz and Blues” bring great, affordable music and fun to the community.

The nearby Lake Bradford provides residents with outdoor water sports.

Art lovers may enjoy visiting the Railroad Square Art Park. Once a warehouse, this art park is now home to 50 studio galleries and a sculpture garden.
