Bloxham Terrace is a rather small, moderately populated community of Tallahassee in the 32304 zip code. It’s bordered by West Tennessee Street to the north and West Pensacola Street to the south. The Evergreen Terrace neighborhood is its eastern border and Appleyard Drive is its western border.

Although Bloxham Terrace is primarily residential, several shops and malls are nearby. Westwood Shopping Center is a mile to its southeast, while the Varsity Shopping Center is a mile to its east. The Tallahassee Mall, one of the most popular indoor shopping arenas of the city, is three northeast of the neighborhood, and it offers Dillard’s, AMC Theatres, Belk, Barnes & Noble, and the Burlington Coat Factory.

Several restaurants are nearby. Canton Restaurant is only a quarter-mile to its northwest. Bagel Bagel is half a mile to its southeast. Sporty’s Westside Pub, a popular hangout for locals, is under half a mile northwest of Bloxham Terrace. Subway Sandwiches, Biance Pizza and Pasta, McCormick’s Deli, and Hungry Howie’s Pizza are within a one-mile radius.

The neighborhood is very popular among college students. In fact, Tallahassee Community College is adjacent to the community at its west side. Florida State University, with its many renowned undergraduate schools, is less than two miles to its east. The Tallahassee Marine Institute is just over a mile to its north, while the Aveda Institute of Tallahassee is a mile to its southeast.

The Mary Brogan Museum of Art and Science, an educational museum with a focus on children, is three miles east of Bloxham Terrace. The Florida State University Museum is two and a half miles to its east, and the museum has a permanent, 4,000-piece collection of fine art.
