Cocoa, FL Apartments for Rent

If you're looking for ideal weather and endless beach days, then the city of Cocoa is ideal! Cocoa, Florida is located on Central Florida's east coast, where two climatic zones (sub-tropic and temperate) meet. Because of this, the area doesn't typically have weather extremes, so you'll enjoy the sunshine and white, sandy beaches year-round!

Of course, it isn't all sun-and-fun -- Cocoa is in the heart of the Space Coast, and this is where you'll find the Kennedy Space Center and a variety of high-tech industries. The area is also home to a variety of wildlife, including coastal and migratory birds. Cocoa Beach is on a barrier island between the Atlantic Ocean and the Banana River. It is just six miles long and only about a mile wide. But while it isn't a huge area, you're sure to find a terrific apartment in Cocoa.

If surfing is your thing, grab your board! Cocoa Beach is the surfing capital of the East Coast. In fact, it is home to world surfing champion Kelly Slater. When you aren’t surfing, swimming, sailing, or beachcombing, you can spend time at one of Cocoa’s many golf courses, kayak to the small islands that dot the Banana River, go swimming in the city’s heated Olympic-size public pool, visit a local beachfront park, and play tennis at the public tennis complex.

After renting an apartment in Cocoa, you’ll find that you are perfectly located – just about an hour from Orlando and its theme parks, just minutes from the cruise ships at Port Canaveral, and surrounded by terrific shops and restaurants.
