The 70-acre Glen Canyon Park, along with the neighboring 3.6-acre O’Shaughnessy Hollow offers a glimpse of what the San Francisco area looked like before it was developed. The scenery here revolves around its numerous large outcrops of rock, which represents terrain ranging from 100 million to 200 million years old. Recreational facilities here include a community center, playgrounds, ball fields, tennis courts, and a ropes course – popular for rock climbers.
