Primrose Apartments for Rent
Located less than a mile from Interstate 5, Primrose is a neighborhood that largely focuses on the needs of the seniors living in the area. It is fitting that there are so many parks within two or three miles of this community.
Garcia Bend Park is one of these. It is a park of almost 19 acres. This park gives the neighborhood access to boat ramps, a nature trail, barbecue areas, and more. Many people from the neighborhood have good luck fishing here, particularly for catfish. The park has many trees and bushes, adding to the scenic beauty. Wildlife is abundant.
Another nearby park is Charter Point Park. Smaller than Garcia Bend, it still offers access to nature and wildlife. Heavenside Park and Parkway Oak Park are just two of the many other nearby parks in the area, giving the community great places for recreation and a chance to relax in a natural setting.
At a slightly greater distance from the Primrose neighborhood is the Bing Maloney Golf Course, ideal for the golfing enthusiast. This large and well- manicured 18-hole course has many large and well-established oak trees. Wild animals aren’t uncommon here, making the golfing more challenging and fun. The course is over a half century old, and it is locally well known.
There are a number of schools near Primrose, and there are several airports in the area to serve the neighborhood. Travis Air Force Base is located within 15 miles of Primrose.
Many of the homes in this area are very nice, featuring large, mature trees of many kinds. The landscaping is well done and cared for around most of the homes.
This area has a senior center and a nursing home, and Rush River Drive gives access to these and to the neighborhood of Primrose.
