The Crossings is one of the most affordable and attractive neighborhoods in the area. It has everything from single-family, detached homes to townhouses, row houses, and apartments. Many of the homes are colorful, and the tree-lined streets make walking a pleasure. This neighborhood was designed to be self-contained. Residents should not need to go anywhere else to get the necessities of life.

Public transportation is available. San Antonio Cal Train Commuter Station is located in the neighborhood. It makes traveling into San Francisco or out to Gilroy very easy. There are lots of trains every morning and afternoon to choose from.

San Antonio Shopping Center is adjacent to The Crossings and offers a wide variety of shopping options. Walmart and Kohl’s are among the major retailers, and Trader Joe’s is a popular grocery shopping choice. For residents there is also a Safeway within the neighborhood. West El Camino Real offers a nice selection of fast food and sit-down restaurants. For a totally different experience, a walk through the Milk Pail Market provides the option of sampling the freshest produce, gourmet cheeses, and items from around the world to tempt any palette.

There are a couple of small parks within the neighborhood. The one at Concord Circle has a playground and an open green space. The Park on Beacon Street has paved walking paths and a gazebo.

The Crossings is a charming neighborhood that has been created from what was once a wasteland. It is beautiful and close to everything residents need.
