To the east of the community are The Orange County Great Park, Limestone Canyon, and Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park. The Orange County Great Park is under development and features the Great Park Balloon, which offers free balloon rides. Weather permitting, the balloon climbs 400 feet, giving passengers a panoramic view of the park and surrounding city. Limestone Canyon and Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park span 4,300 acres of native California vegetation, such as oak woodlands, coastal sage scrub, and chaparral. The park has scenic rock formations, including the Red Rock Canyon.
