Vista Del Monte Apartments for Rent

Vista Del Monte is an older Tucson neighborhood located on the north side of the city. The majority of the homes in this area were built in the late 1940s to the 1970s, with a few scattered homes that were built more recently. The mostly single-story homes provide housing for many older residents in Tucson, as well as smaller families.

Recreation in Vista Del Monte is geared toward the families in the area. McCormick Park, located on the northern border of the neighborhood, is a popular gathering spot for birthdays, baseball games, and even soccer. It is also typical to see people using the park for walking their dogs. The park features plenty of open green space, a playground popular with young children, and a basketball court.

Neighboring McCormick Park is one of the nicer YMCAs in the area and is one of the most popular family destinations in Vista del Monte. Inside the YMCA is a full swimming pool, fitness center, and numerous other amenities. The YMCA features classes and hosts events to get the community residents out of the house and provide them with more activity. It also hosts many events for seniors.

If indoor entertaining is more to your liking, along Swann Road on the eastern side of the neighborhood are numerous restaurants featuring dining from around the world. This road is also the main drag for entertainment in the immediate area. Following Swann Road south to Grant Street opens up a shopping center which is frequented by area residents. Inside the shopping center is Grand Cinema. This movie theater is one of the more popular destinations for area teenagers looking for entertainment.
