It is a popular destination for hiking, camping, and picnicking, among other activities. The Santa Catalina Mountains to the east offer some great hikes from desert terrain all the way to alpine meadows. Some of the area golf courses include Silverbell Golf Course, El Rio Golf Course, and Randolph Municipal Golf Course.
