Valencia Reserve Apartments for Rent(hide neighborhood information)
Pima County is the home of the Valencia Reserve subdivision in the south central area of Tucson. Its convenient location in the 85756 zip code provides easy access to both the I-10 and I-19 freeways, permitting shopping at a number of different shopping centers, parks, and the Pima County Rodeo Grounds.
Valencia Reserve is located south of East Valencia Road and north of East Los Reales Road. It has two entrances off of South Alvemon Way that borders it on the west side. Within the neighborhood there are both one and two-story homes. All of them are painted in earth-tone colors. The lots are narrow and small. There is a community park that has trails on which local residents walk or jog.
The Davis Monthan Air Force Base is just across I-10 from Valencia Reserve, while Tucson International Airport is a short distance to the southwest.
Students living in the Valencia Reserve subdivision can study at Pima Community College—either the main campus, the Desert Vista Campus, or the University of Arizona. The Desert Vista Campus of Pima Community College is located the closest to the subdivision.
Besides a number of small parks, two larger parks are conveniently located on the west side of Valencia Reserve: The Santa Cruz River Park and the John F. Kennedy Park. The Santa Cruz River Park is home to Tucson’s oldest disc golf course. Walkers, bicyclists, horseback riders, and joggers enjoy the trails and sculptures throughout the park.
The John F. Kennedy Park provides a larger variety of activities and is a favorite spot for families and fishermen. There are basketball and tennis courts, sports fields, playgrounds, picnic areas, a regularly stocked fishing lake, and a swimming pool.
