Running parallel to Interstate 19, the Turner Acres neighborhood, established along the South Nogales Highway, is a developing area on the southern outskirts of Tucson, Arizona. The Southwestern International Raceway and Dragway occupy space in the fairgrounds. Auto enthusiasts test their skills on the racetrack, competing in this very popular sport. Pima Motor Sports Park and Musselman Honda Circuit/P1 Circuit are positioned in proximity to SIR, outside the county fairground’s boundaries.
Looking out into the distance beyond the Turner Acres community, views of beautiful mountain ranges can be seen in almost every direction. Saguaro National Park and the Santa Catalina Mountain Range create picturesque scenery throughout the northern region. Coronado National Forest is situated south of the community. Residents enjoy picnicking, hiking, camping, and a variety of other activities in these vast lands, some with tourist destinations like Old Tucson Studios, Mount Lemmon, and Colossal Cave.
