The Tucson Mall, 7.5 miles south of the neighborhood, is a shopper’s paradise, with over 200 stores and restaurants, including Sears, Dillard’s, Macy’s, JC Penny, Build-a-Bear, and Sephora. Also in the area are Costco, Wal-Mart, Trader Joe’s, and AJ’s Fine Foods.

Sports fun is found at Morris K. Udall Park, five miles south of the neighborhood. This 173-acre space has sports fields for organized sports, including soccer fields, and basketball and tennis courts. There is also a bocce court, horseshoe pits, sand volleyball courts, a walking path, and a playground and recreation center with exercise equipment. An outdoor amphitheater hosts free summer concerts and other community events. A fenced-in dog exercise area rounds out the amenities.
