This community is also roughly the same distance from Saguaro National Park. Some of the trees found here are surprising to many people, ranging from large Ponderosa pines, to junipers, and even aspens at the 9,000 foot high peak of the park. All of this gives the residents of this neighborhood great recreational activities to chose from.

The community of Tanque Verde Village is also near schools and businesses. As one would expect of a neighborhood so close to a national park, much of this area is rustic and lovely, with wild animals common guests in the area.
