Swan Ridge is a very small, primarily residential Catalina Foothills neighborhood situated north of Tucson. Along with neighboring Catalina Foothills subdivisions, this community features some of the most expensive homes in the greater Tucson area. The community of Swan Ridge is just south of the picturesque Tierra Serena neighborhood.

La Paloma Country Club and Skyline Country Club serve the golfing needs of many of the wealthier residents of Swan Ridge and the surrounding areas. With additional services like dining in on-site restaurants, tennis courts, aqua centers, and fitness centers, these country clubs cater to all members of the family.

In fact, the Swan Ridge community is very family-friendly. Several well-regarded schools are located within walking distance of the neighborhood. The Tutoring Club of the Foothills is located only feet to the north of the community. The St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church Preschool and Valley View Preschool are less than a half mile from Swan Ridge. Lamb’s Gate Christian School is nearby, and the International School for Peace, with its highly rated Spanish immersion program, is less than two miles south of the neighborhood.

The community also has schools and studios that cater to the special after-school interests of neighborhood children. El Presidio Stables, a riding academy, is only a mile southeast of the neighborhood. The Catalina Foothills Chess Academy teaches children from all over Tucson the art of chess, with a large number of its students coming from and near the Swan Ridge community. Also nearby is a martial arts school, Wildcat Taekwondo.
