Numerous trails are established throughout the park. A large variety of educational programs are sponsored through the park. The facilities are well maintained, supporting accommodations for disabled and handicapped visitors, as well.

The University of Arizona is established approximately 20 minutes southwest of the Sunset Ranch neighborhood in the heart of the city of Tucson. The college is an integral part of the community, influencing and participating in events and educational programs throughout the greater Tucson area.
