A fun place to take visiting friends and family members is the Pima Air and Space Museum, roughly seven miles from the community. This large aviation museum is home to more than 300 aircraft. Another nearby attraction is the Desert Diamond Casino, which is located just four miles away, on South Nogales Highway.

For those who commute downtown to work, the distance to the city of Tucson is a reasonable 11 miles. Air travel is convenient since the Tucson International Airport is less than four miles from the neighborhood.
