Francis Cabrini is a small neighborhood located in a heavily residential area. Being a mostly residential area means a lot less traffic on the streets and more peace for the residents. However, the peace does come with a little additional driving for residents looking to go out for a bit.

For area shopping, the closest shopping mall that features more than a grocery store is El Con Regional Shopping Center, located 3.8 miles to the south off of Country Club Road. This mall is a relatively popular area mall with some large national brand stores including Home Depot, Ross, Office Depot, Radio Shack, Champ’s Sports, and many other smaller national brands.

Directly across the street from the El Con Mall is one of the largest and most popular recreation areas in the region. The Randolph Recreation Center is a massive recreation complex that is home to the Reffkin Tennis Center, featuring 25 tennis courts that are in regular use. The recreation center also has a good-sized lap swimming pool at the Randolph Center. Also inside the recreation center is a double basketball/volleyball court, a fitness center, gymnastics room, and even several classrooms that can be reserved.

Part of the Randolph Recreation Center is the Randolph Municipal Golf Course, which is easily the largest course in the Tucson region. This extremely popular course is an excellent place to practice your game with some helpful hints from the many experienced golf pros who are available to help players of all experience levels. The course also has a pro shop that is available within the recreation center itself.

Popular restaurants in the St. Francis Cabrini area include Cocoyaya Mexican Food, Vega’s, and Egg Connection. The area is framed by North Country Club Road, East Ford Lowell Road, North Palo Verde Avenue, and East Glenn Street.
