Both the major thoroughfares of West Wetmore Road on the south and North Romero Road to the west bring the residents to Interstate 10, with West Wetmore Road also being the direct route to the Oracle and Tucson Mall shopping centers.

While Sagewood neighborhood has no parks or bicycle lanes, the roadway design is considerate of both use and conservation as it is large enough to comfortably share with cyclists and have sidewalks for pedestrians, keeping the blacktop to a minimum. The use of water-conservative landscaping gives the neighborhood a distinctively clean appearance, with very little maintenance required.
