Another popular destination in the Catalinas is an additional mile up the road at Bear Canyon Picnic Area. This full-facility picnic area is an excellent place to enjoy a snack while in the middle of a mountain wonderland. Along the entire route through the mountains are scenic turn-offs and numerous trails perfect for hikers and cyclists.
