With its tree-lined, residential streets, Romero Park is a Flowing Wells community. Located in northwest Tucson, the neighborhood allows people to live in the primarily residential, picturesque community, with all of the conveniences and cultural attractions of Tucson within easy driving distance.

The Romero Park neighborhood is bordered to the south by West Wetmore Road and to the north by West River Road. North Flowing Wells Road makes up the eastern border of Romero Park. The community is bordered to the west by North Romero Road and several smaller, local streets.

The Children’s Memorial Park is a Tucson landmark, and is located within walking distance to the east of the neighborhood. It is unique in that it is both a memorial for children of Tucson who have passed away, and it is also a lush, well-equipped playground for children of today. It was dedicated as a place of joy, hope, and peace. The park also has a path for cycling, hiking, and jogging. It also has picnic tables, a basketball court, and a baseball field.

While there are some smaller shops in and around the Romero Park neighborhood, the closest shopping center is the Flowing Wells Plaza Shopping, which is just over a mile south of the community, as is the Tucson Mall. It has many contemporary, popular stores and eateries. So does the Oracle Ridge Plaza Shopping Center, which is just a mile east of Romero Park.

The University of Arizona is less than five miles southeast of Romero Park, making the neighborhood an excellent home for college students who come to the area for school. The area’s cultural attractions also complement its location, including the nearby Tucson Museum of Art and the International Wildlife Museum.
