Riverside Gardens Apartments for Rent

Riverside Gardens is a small Flowing Wells community that’s northwest of Tucson. The neighborhood is bordered to the north by West River Road and to the south by West Wetmore Road. North Flowing Wells Road serves as the western border to Riverside Gardens, and North Fairview Road serves as its eastern border.

The massive Oracle Ridge Shopping Center and Tuscon Mall are to the east of the community. The Tucson Mall has dozens of stores and eateries. It houses such shops as Macy’s, Dillard’s, Forever 21, Sears, The Disney Store and Lady Footlocker. The food court is a popular hang out for young residents of Riverside Gardens, and offers such restaurants as Cozzoli’s Pizza and Subway.

The Children’s Memorial Park is to the east of the Riverside Gardens community. It’s a memorial to the children who have died in Tucson, and is also a playground for the children of today. It houses a playground for children, a multiple purpose biking and hiking trail, a ball field, a basketball court and picnic tables. Children who have died in the Tucson area are listed by name on a granite memorial, and beautiful statues and tributes are located within the park as well.

The Riverside Gardens community is popular among college students of varying interests. The ITT Technical Institute is only a half-mile northwest of Riverside Gardens, and the Tucson College of Beauty is only a mile south of the community. The Hollywood Barber College, Bikram’s Yoga College of India, and the University of Arizona are located within a three-mile radius of the Riverside Gardens neighborhood.
