The Tucson National hosts countless tournaments, including the Chrysler Classic of Tucson.

East of the neighborhood are the Santa Catalina Mountains and the Santa Catalina Natural Area. Catalina State Park offers camping, equestrian staging areas, numerous trails, and picnic sites. Wildlife viewing is available throughout the Catalina locale.
