Rancho Lomas Apartments for Rent(hide neighborhood information)
The terrace design of the Rancho Lomas neighborhood of Tucson, Arizona, gives it a tidy appeal as the streets sway gently with the landscape. The community is a mix of detached homes and condos, which share a community pool with its own parking lot. It is located in the 85704 zip code.
To the east of Rancho Lomas are the major crossroads of East Orangegrove Road and North 1st Avenue. Cam Aguante leads into the community from East Orangegrove Road connecting with the three roads of Cil Zavala, Cam De Cabaluna, and East Cam Lomas.
Apart from the breathtaking view of the Santa Catalina mountains and surrounding desert, Rancho Lomas offers plenty for the residents to do. To the north are the Casa Adobe Shopping Plaza, Estrada De Aro Shopping Plaza, and the Plaza Escondia Shopping Center. The La Encantada Shopping Plaza is nearby to the east.
To the south is the historical Rillito Park and Race Track, which is known for introducing the “photo finish” to the sport of horse racing. To the west is the Arizona-Sonoran Museum in Saguaro National Park, and further south in the Tucson Mountain Park is the home of the Old Tucson Studios.
The Rancho Lomas Neighborhood does have sidewalks for residents to stroll, but they do not begin until 100 feet into the neighborhood. The Sun Tran Bus Line public transportation routes skip the stretch of East Orangegrove that leads to the Rancho Lomas Neighborhood. Route 105-x picks up at North 1st Avenue and heads eastward on East Orangegrove Road.
