Hiking enthusiasts flock to the Saguaro National Park to the west.

The wide streets preclude the use of sidewalks and bike lanes through the neighborhood. Each property provides off street parking. The long streets provide excellent visibility for vehicles to share the road safely with cyclists and pedestrians. The Sun Tran Bus Line provides public transportation near the neighborhood on route number 17 to and from the Tohono Tadai transit center, opening up the entire city to residents of Palmdale.
