The Golf Links Sport Complex, located at 2400 South Craycroft Road, offers sports enthusiasts five soccer fields and four softball fields. The Myers neighborhood is also quite bike-friendly. The Aviation Bikeway, a nine-mile path for walking and cycling, runs parallel to Golf Links Road and offers a convenient, smooth ride among surrounding mesquite trees and desert landscape. This bike path is quite underused, offering cyclists the opportunity to enjoy the quiet and peaceful views of the Catalina Mountains.

Parents of school-aged children have several schools a few blocks away. Mini Skool Early Learning Center provides childcare, day care, and early childhood education off of Craycroft Road. Myers Ganoung Elementary School is conveniently located off Andrews Street, whereas Alice Vail Middle School is a few blocks away. The Freedom Recreation Center, off East 29th Street, routinely organizes various programs for youth and teens.
