Montanas DE Paz Apartments for Rent(hide neighborhood information)
As East River Road snakes to the northeastern outskirts of Tucson, Arizona, it crosses North Swan Road, which leads to the Montanas De Paz Neighborhood. Just under a half a mile north, at the end of a four hundred foot driveway, are the neighborhood’s stylish brick-mounted gates. Gates such as these are common among many of the new communities in East Placita Provada, the heart of the desert jewel neighborhood.
Lamb’s Gate Christian School forms the northern border, other developments form both the eastern and southern borders, and North Swan Road forms the western border.
The neighborhood is a mixture of moderate mid-90s homes and mansions. Prices reflect Montanas De Paz’s close proximity to the Catalina Foothills. House styles range from Ranch, Spanish, and Southwestern. The slow, rolling hills that reach up to the Catalina Foothills tuck Montanas and the surrounding neighborhoods into a sprawling landscape.
The East Placita Provada area does not offer access to public transportation. However, the Sun Tran Bus Line does have one route running along North Swan Road. Tucson’s picturesque skyline to one side and the Santa Catalina Mountains to the other side, not to mention the endless, star-filled nights, more than compensate for the neighborhood’s lack of parks.
Residents of the Montanas De Paz neighborhood enjoy a life that is close to the big city, yet still comfortably in Arizona’s rising foothills.
