One of the more popular destinations for recreation in the area is the Tucson Racquet and Swim Club off of Country Club Road. This massive club has an incredible 33 outdoor tennis courts. These courts are used heavily throughout the year for clinics, league play for different age groups, and of course, tournaments. There is also a basketball court, a recreation center, and there are swimming pools at the club to round out the offerings.

On the west side of the racquet club is North Central District Park. This large park has plenty of space for visitors to spread out with their friends and family. The park has a large playground, many trails, and even a large section for horses. It is pretty common to see residents horseback riding along the trails of the park or taking advantage of the many horse amenities on the south side of the park.

North of the park is a lengthy chunk of pavement that runs along a small waterway, providing excellent mileage for area cyclists.
