Esperero Vista Apartments for Rent(hide neighborhood information)
The Esperero Vista neighborhood sits across the corner from the Catalina State Park and the Coronado National Forest, in the 85750 zip code. North of the city of Tucson, the neighborhood uses the natural ridges and valleys to enhance each home’s view of the local mountainous wonders, while virtually disappearing into the desert scenery.
The back of the homes along East Elk Creek Road form the northern boundary of the Esperero Vista Neighborhood, with a strip of desert separating the properties from North Sabino Canyon Road forming the eastern boundary. The end of the property line of the homes along the south side of East Starbright Court are the southern edge, and the western line of the neighborhood.
For the residents who feel the itch of cabin fever, there are the Sabino Canyon Campgrounds to the north for that quick weekend nature trip. The Arizona National Golf Club is just to the east for a day of relaxation. For a more exclusive round, there is the Tucson Country Club to the south. For shopping the Kolb-Sunrise Commercial Plaza is to the west.
The Esperero Vista Neighborhood, built in the early 1990s, has a clever mix of single-story ranch-style homes and two-story contemporary southwestern styled homes matched to the landscape. The color of the homes, the natural desert landscaping and the placement of each home, gives the feel that each home is the single desert pioneer.
The neighborhood is pedestrian friendly with spacious well cared for sidewalks throughout, yet the bike lanes do not begin until the main roadways. The wide streets make it easy for vehicles and cyclists to share the road safely. The Sun Tran Bus Line does operate public transportation in the area; the 105-x route has to be met at the Kolb-Sunrise intersection.
