Enchanted Hills Apartments for Rent(hide neighborhood information)
Enchanted Hills is located on the far west side of Tucson. The hacienda style homes in this area sit on hilly lots. Many are landscaped with natural desert vegetation and trees and most were built in the early 1970s.
John F. Kennedy Park was named after the 35th President of the United States. The park has ramadas, grills, and playgrounds and there are also lighted tennis courts and lighted basketball courts. Alongside a swimming pool is an urban fishing lake that is stocked regularly. The park is host to Cinco De Mayo celebrations and other special events.
Nearby is Santa Cruz River Park. A trail follows alongside the Santa Cruz River and is used by bikers, hikers and joggers. Visitors come to play on the city’s oldest disc golf course or visit the Garden of Gethsemane, featuring the sculptures of artist Felix Lucero. The Santa Cruz Farmer’s Market is at the park every Thursday and offers local fruits and vegetables.
Sentinel Park, better known as “A” mountain, is a Tucson landmark. Visitors can hike the trail that winds around the mountain and enjoy the Tucson valley views. There is a large painted letter “A” on the side of the mountain. There is a gazebo at the top, used for picnics and sometimes weddings.
Visitors to the area can stay at the Redwood Lodge, which offers air conditioning, a pool and kitchenettes. Guests can also play horseshoes and shuffleboard. The Lodge is close to Tucson International Airport and many area restaurants.
Enchanted Hills offers many area attractions, as well as easy access to Tucson Business.
