Vista Del Rio Park is popular with families and dog walkers. It is less than a mile from the center of Double Five. Although there are no schools directly in the neighborhood, schools ranging from public school to La Petite Academy to preschool are less than a mile from the Double Five neighborhood.
North of Double Five are the larger, wealthy neighborhoods of Sabino Vista Heights and De La Ossa Estates. The nearest restaurants to Double Five can be found to the south, along E. Tanque Verde Road. They range from fast food restaurants to locally-owned eateries. With the backdrop of the larger Tucson area and the Catalina Mountains, Double Five is suitable for families and young professionals alike.
