Stucco, single-story homes line the streets of the family-friendly neighborhood of Cortaro Ridge in north Tucson. Located off West Cortaro Farms Road, the subdivision of Cortaro Ridge is designed with families in mind.

Sidewalks line every street within Cortaro Ridge, making walking and biking safe and enjoyable within the neighborhood. A playground is available for the community, as well as private walking trails and a dog path.

Students living in Cortaro Ridge attend Quail Run Elementary School, Tortolita Middle School, and Mountain View High School. For older students, ITT Technical Institute is ten miles from the neighborhood, and the Art Center Design College is less than a 30-minute drive.

While home lots are fairly small in Cortaro Ridge, houses retain their privacy with well-established trees and landscaping. Neatly manicured lawns and stone retaining walls blend with trees and cacti on the flat desert terrain.

While some homes are older, most homes within Cortaro Ridge were constructed within the last 15 years. The main streets in the neighborhood consist of North Hummer Drive and North Holly Brook Avenue. Several smaller streets are also located in Cortaro Ridge, resulting in several cul-de-sacs in the neighborhood.

Cortaro Ridge backs up to Arthur Pack Regional Park, located directly north of the area. The park’s baseball and softball fields and batting cages remain favorites with local youth. The playground provides additional recreation, and the shelter houses provide shade for afternoon picnics.

The neighborhood of Cortaro Ridge provides newer homes on easy-to-maintain lots, with easy access to parks and schools.
