El Conquistador Country Club operated by Hilton offers two 18 hole golf courses. It is a membership club but one course is always open for non-member golf on any given day. Tennis, fitness and fine dining are also offered at this club.

Catalina State Park is located just to the east of Catalina Shadows. It offers a wide variety of things to do. There are many activities going on regularly such as guided walks on the weekends. For bird lovers, there are also bird hikes which take place on a variety of different days. The visitor’s center offers lots of information. Camp sites are offered in the park, both rustic, and ones with hookups. There are hiking trails for all skill and fitness levels. Most trails are open to bikers and equestrians as well as hikers.
