Canada Hills Apartments for Rent

The golfing community of Canada Hills is located in Oro Valley northwest of Tucson. Canada Hills is an 830-acre planned neighborhood that has been divided into subdivisions. The homes of the community are built on or around the El Conquistador County Club Golf Course, which goes through the community.

El Conquistador County Club has lush green fairways and offers golfers two different courses with a total of 36 holes. An executive course with nine holes is available at the El Conquistador resort a couple of miles away.

Shopping, dining, and entertainment are readily available to Canada Hills residents. The Oro Valley Shopping Center is only a few blocks away. Residents can also have an enjoyable visit at the nearby Oro Valley Public Library.

This gated community is served by the Amphitheater School District. Elementary and middle-school students attend Wilson from kindergarten through eighth grade. High school students attend Ironwood Ridge High School.

Nature lovers and naturalists will be drawn to the Canada Hills community. Tortolita Mountain Park, located in the Tortolita Mountains, offers hikers six different trails with varying levels of difficulty. All trails originate from one trailhead. Other mountain trails are available for four-wheeling fun. Along the rugged trails, petroglyph-covered rocks and cactus, both cholla and beavertail, populate the Arizona desert terrain.

To the east of Canada Hills, the Catalina State Park, which is located at the base of the Catalina Mountains, offers hikers many opportunities, including guided hikes for the flora, fauna, birds, and animals in the area. Farther east, in the Santa Catalina Mountains, Mount Lemmon has an observatory for stargazers and, in the right season, skiing for avid skiers. The Butterfly and Santa Catalina Natural Areas provide access to natural springs, hiking through breath-taking country, and camping.
