Canada Del Oro Apartments for Rent(hide neighborhood information)
The Canada Del Oro neighborhood, on the northwest side of Tucson in the Santa Catalina foothills, is near medical facilities and shopping. It is surrounded by West Orange Grove Road on the north, North La Canada Drive on the east, West Sunset Road and North Roller Coaster Road on the south, and North La Cholla Road on the east.
Canada Del Oro is primarily made up of ranch-style, single family homes built in the 80s. The community is conveniently located to shopping, dining and parks, such as the Tohono Chul Park, located to the northeast, and the Catalina State Park, situated several miles north on Highway 77, also known as North Oracle Road.
Catalina State Park provides a premium landscape for hiking, biking, picnicking or observing wildlife. Several trails run through the recreational area, some of which lead up to Mt. Lemmon, the highest point in the Santa Catalina Mountains. Hikers experience varying changes in climate and topography on the way to the top, from the hot, open desert of the foothills to the cool alpine meadows.
The neighborhood is also close to major shopping malls, such as the Foothill Malls, which is located northwest of the community, and the Tucson Mall, to the southeast at 4500 North Oracle Road. The Tucson Mall is the largest shopping complex in the city of Tucson, includes popular retailers, such as J.C. Penney, Sears, Dillards and Macy’s.
Whether they want to shop or find a place to commune with nature for a while, residents in Canada Del Oro are ideally located.
